Behind The Scenes With Haitian Band, Harmonik!

Sunday March 20, 2011, Stylists Tiairrea Green and Chanell Fair of K.O. Koture Fashion Firm, styled the all male Hatian band, Harmonik, for their music video and song entitled “Let’s Go!”. This music video focused on fast cars, beautiful women and top notch fashion. The video and song also featured Soca Queen, Allison Hinds, who definitely brought the heat to the set (Shouts out to Allison Hinds’ stylist Jewel). There are four singers in the eight man band, Mac D (Lead singer), Sanders (back up singer and producer), Nick (back up singer and producer), KB (back up singer). As the front men to this band these four men definitely shine. On set we spent time getting to know their individual styles. Follow along in the pictures to see how stylish these men were dressed by the women of K.O. Koture. Let us not forget the one of a kind shoes that were sponsored by shoe company No Shoelace.

When it comes to styling men the women of K.O. Koture have a calling. The majority of their clients are men and work in the music or sports industry. These two ladies are known for making custom clothing for their male clients and outsourcing tailoring to high-end tailors with Italian suit structuring training. These women also know how to set their clients apart from the next man without making their clients feel uncomfortable in what they’re wearing. “It starts with the shoes for us,” said Lead Stylist Tiairrea Green. Shoes definitely are a man’s favorite accessory. We’ve learned that if you get the shoes right everything else must compliment them no exceptions. During the video you undoubtedly see how the shoes tied into their outfits. Vivienne Westwood, Nooka by Heydo, and Aldo runway collection shoes, these ladies spared no fashion sense on this group. These shoes were definitely not something that you can find in your local shoe store. The ladies divulged how the last minute call to their friend/connect who owns the shoe company to rent the shoes for this occasion. No Shoelace owner, CJ as they call him, took on the demanding challenge to fly the shoes in over night. These ladies pulled strings that no other stylist in their playground could pull at such a short notice.
